Dwarf English Laurel Shrub | Evergreen Groundcover | Prunus laurocerasus ‘Mt Vernon’ | 1 Gallon Container

Add year-round evergreen structure and low-maintenance beauty to your landscape with this live Prunus laurocerasus ‘Mt Vernon’, a compact dwarf English Laurel prized for its tidy spreading habit and exceptional adaptability. Unlike larger English laurels, ‘Mt Vernon’ remains compact and well-behaved, forming a dense evergreen mound that rarely flowers or produces seed, making it a non-invasive and garden-friendly choice. Growing only about 2 feet tall while spreading up to 5 feet wide, this versatile shrub is ideal for evergreen groundcover, low borders, shaded beds, underplantings, and urban landscapes. Hardy and resilient, ‘Mt Vernon’ thrives in conditions where many other shrubs struggle, including dry shade, poor soils, and drought once established. With glossy green evergreen foliage and naturally tidy growth, it requires little to no pruning while providing year-round texture and coverage. You will receive a healthy live plant similar in size and condition to the one shown in the listing photos.
